CPI announced on September 7, 2017 the opening of its offices in Querétaro, Mexico. The engineering services company from Luxembourg will be located within the premises of UNAQ, the Aerospace University of Querétaro.

CPI decided to take this step to provide better efficient time and cost solutions to its customers settled in the American continent. “This milestone confirms with facts the CPI philosophy: we pursue proximity and flexibility to adapt to the environment of our clients, and the Aerospace University in Querétaro constitutes the ideal place to achieve this goal”, stated Pascal Dine, CEO of the CPI Group.

The 13 year old company will offer from its new offices the following services: machining strategy and times estimation, CNC and CMM programming, automation, digital simulation, post‐processor development, on‐site technical assistance, and applied training in several software.

CPI Mexico has already hired and trained local staff before starting activities and continues recruting to further strengthen its team. The whole of CPI Mexico activities will be accompanied by the headquarters to guarantee all services keep the quality, specific skills and level of expertise required by its long-‐time partners.

With this site CPI expands its global presence and invests in new talent, accomplishing strategic axes of its future development, that together with research and the development of innovative projects for the 4.0 industry, will drive CPI to the level of its ambition.

CPI is convinced that this project will consolidate even tighter ties with its existing customers and will provide with the framework to develop partnerships with a bigger number of stakeholders that will benefit CPI, its clients and the local industrial environment as a whole.

This year the Euroskills competition took place in Sweden. Young people all over Europe meet to compete for the European title in vocational skills. The Mechatronics challenge was to reconstruct a production process and program its automatons, following given specifications. To perform in this activity, skills from various disciplines were needed: mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and automatism.

Fabien’s mission working at CPI is to participate in the development of a numerical chain and automation department. The increasing demand for IT development projects enables him to leverage his informatics skills within industrial production environments.

CPI provides specific services in software development. VISUAL STUDIO and its Integrated Development Environment (IDE), allows great flexibility in the creation of software for industrial automation purposes, directly adapted to the client’s environment.
